Oliver Quansah

Filmmaker & Director

Oliver Quansah

Oliver Quansah is a filmmaker with over 10 years' experience in the film industry in Accra, Ghana. He is a graduate of the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) and has worked on numerous Television Commercials, Documentaries and Feature film projects both locally and internationally.

Oliver has written and directed four short films: Page 22, Call The Police, Sea & Fish, and Blue Lagoon Street — which premiered at the 12th edition of the Luxor African Film Festival in Egypt and screened at Festival del Cinema di Cefalù, Italy in 2023.

He has also taught Screenwriting and consulted on Television Series in Ghana. He is a member of the Director's Guild of Ghana under GAFTA.

Martin Thau

Martin Thau is a German screenwriter, lecturer and former head of studies of the Munich Screenwriting Workshop at the University for Film and Television.

He has written scripts for film and television including Mute Witness, Urban Explorer, The Captain of Nakara and others. He is the author of WRITING FOR AUDIENCE: The Guide to a Well-Received Screenplay.

Adjoa Halm-Quagraine is a Banking & Finance lecturer at the University for Professional Studies, faculty of Accounting and Finance. She is a revered investment advisor and analyst with experience spanning over 20 years.

Esther Odoom

Esther Odoom is a professional Accountant with over 5 years' experience. She brings great leadership and organisational skills to the Almoviser team.
King Ampaw

Film Director

King Ampaw

King Ampaw is a renowned Ghanaian Film Director with several acclaimed films to his credit — No Time To Die, Kukurantumi: Road to Accra, and Juju among others.

His films have won numerous international awards including the Film Critics Award for Kukurantumi at FESPACO, the Input Film Award for Juju in Czech Republic, and the Talifa Film Festival Award in Spain. He was the first Filmmaker to receive an Honorary Award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in Nigeria.

He is a founding member of FEPACI, FESPACO, GAFTA and the Directors' Guild of Ghana.
